Shipping and Returns


Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 10 days of delivery for a refund less restocking fees. If you identify damaged, defect or that we sent you the wrong product, or if you decide you don't want the product, all claims or requests for return must be made within this 10 day period.  No orders after 10 days of your receipt will qualify for return.  We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).  All returns must be made in original packaging, and in re-sellable condition and under no condition can a return be made without a  "RA" Return Authorization or a "RTV" return to vendor number issued by our offices.  We cannot approve returns which have been in your possession for greater than 10 days for any reason.  If in fact your return is approved and is desired through no fault of either RestaurantSuppliesPro.com or the vendor, there will be a restocking fee no less than 25% of the good sell price.  Your freight both inbound and outbound will be deducted from the credit you receive.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Your Shipping Options

RAK RESTAURANT SUPPLIES puts forth great effort to ensure that all orders are shipped in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. However, we cannot guarantee the delivery date of any order. All orders placed on this site are subject to product availability and will be shipped according to our shipping policies.

Shipping Destinations

RAK RESTAURANT SUPPLIES currently ships throughout the 50 United States, Mexico, Canada and several Caribbean Islands. Orders cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or APO’s. Some rural and/or military sites may not be accessible to our shippers. If we are unable to ship to your particular location, we will notify you of an alternative route.

Each order may only have one "ship to" address. If you require multiple "ship to" addresses, please order separately for each address.

Shipping Locations

In some cases, Product will be shipped directly to a customer from the manufacturer. Freight costs, if any, will be calculated using this manufacturer as the point of origin. However, all RSP vendors, can typically ship anywhere.

Shipping Methods and Charges

All orders will be shipped either small parcels or by common LTL carrier. The shipping charges are automatically calculated online based on the origin and destination zip code, along with the weight, dimension and freight class of the products being shipped.

If the total weight of the freight makes small parcels delivery cost prohibitive, RSP will ship your order through common carrier, or LTL.  LTL shipments by definition are “curbside” meaning that it is the responsibility of the customer to offload the freight, unless “inside delivery” is requested. Commercial addresses with loading docks will have the delivery made at the dock. Common carrier shipments require a signature at the time of delivery and some carriers will not deliver to residences.

Signature and Inspection Required

All orders delivered to your home or office will require a signature at the time of delivery. Please inspect all products, packages and assure that no product has been delivered damaged prior to your signature.  Once you have signed these freight documents, you have released both Restaurantsuppliespro.com as well as the freight company.  This means that although we are under no obligation to do so, we will do all we can to assist you in the event of concealed damages.  If we are unable to encourage the freight company to make the proper restitution, it is at our own discretion to act on your behalf with the vendor to get you an appropriate credit or replacement.

Sales Tax Policy

RestaurantSuppliesPro.com currently collects and remits sales tax in the States of Colorado, Florida, New York and California as required by law. If you claim tax-exempt status, please contact Customer Service for information on obtaining the proper tax exemption forms. This form must be in our possession, signed and properly completed by an authorized representative of your business, before taxes will be removed from any order.

RestaurantSuppliesPro.com does not collect sales tax from any other State or Municipality, however, you as a customer are responsible for paying these taxes and are responsible to do so in the event that we have mistakenly not charged those taxes from you at the time of your order.  In the event that we have drop shipped an order to you in a State where either RSP.com or our vendor partners have what is called a “NEXUS” or a taxable presence, we are required by law to charge those taxes.  However, our inability, oversight, or error in not collecting those taxes does not release you, the customer from paying either your State, Municipality or other agency and RSP.com reserves the right to charge your credit card in the event this does not occur.  If we are unable to do so, you will be billed the amount and will have 30 days to pay the balance due.
